I founded Specs at Home after nearly two decades of working in the optical industry. Since 2006, I’ve seen the best and worst of eye care — and too often, I've seen patients being let down. I've watched people rushed through eye examinations, pushed towards products they don't really need, or left feeling more like a sales opportunity than a patient. It's never sat right with me.

 

That’s why I decided to do things differently. Specs at Home was born from my belief that eye care should be built on honesty, dignity, and professional integrity. When I recommend a product, it’s because I truly believe it’s the right choice — not because of sales targets or upselling. My guiding question is always simple: what is genuinely best for this patient?

 

I’m proud to work alongside my colleague, Ketan Jadeja — a Moorfields Eye Hospital Specialist and highly respected Optometrist at Day Lewis Opticians. Together, we bring the best of both worlds to our patients: advanced hospital-level clinical expertise and specialist dispensing experience. That means thorough eye examinations, accurate prescriptions, and carefully chosen frames and lenses that genuinely improve comfort, vision, and quality of life.
